"My wife and I had an enriching and thoroughly enjoyable morning exploring Venice with Lucrezia on the Highlights & Hidden Gems of Venice tour. From the very beginning, it was clear that Lucrezia genuinely loves her city and takes great pride in sharing its history, traditions and everyday life. Rather than simply showing us the famous sights, she led us through quiet neighbourhoods, charming canals and hidden corners that we would never have discovered on our own. It was exactly the authentic, off-the-beaten-path experience we were hoping for. What really set the tour apart was how Lucrezia brought Venice to life through her storytelling. Her explanations were engaging, insightful and filled with fascinating details that helped us appreciate not just the city's rich history, but also what it's like to live in Venice today. We also appreciated her excellent recommendations for local bàcari, cafés and restaurants frequented by Venetians rather than tourists. We followed many of her suggestions over the next few days, and they turned out to be some of the best food and wine experiences of our trip. Lucrezia is warm, knowledgeable, personable and incredibly generous with her local insights. Spending three hours with her felt less like a guided tour and more like discovering Venice with a friend who knows and loves every corner of the city. If you're looking for a meaningful introduction to Venice that goes beyond the usual tourist attractions, we cannot recommend Lucrezia highly enough. It was one of the highlights of our time in Italy, and we would gladly book another tour with her on our next visit."

"We are a family of 4, including twin 10 year old girls, from Houston, TX, USA. We only had 3 days in Venice, and we spent 2 of them on tours with Lucia, and she was amazing! We all loved our time with her, and she was especially great with my girls who adored her. She handled all of the planning and purchasing tickets for our activities, and it was so stress free for me. We started this tour with an amazing stop at the last remaining puppeteer in Venice. We visited his magical workshop and got to learn all about his process and see his amazing puppets. It was such a unique and fun experience. Then, we did a tour around Venice that took my girls on a fun scavenger hunt. They learned so much and had so much fun at the same time. At the end, the girls were awarded a prize for beating the parents, and they were thrilled! Lucia dropped us off at a mask making workshop which she had arranged in a non touristy part of town where my girls painted handmade paper mache masks in the Venetian style. They loved it! I highly recommend Lucia as a guide. She is extremely knowledgeable, wonderful with kids and adults, and she showed us so many things that we would never have seen on our own. "Unfortunately, I experienced heat exhaustion about 25 minutes into the tour. While we were not able to finish the tour, we still had a positive experience with our guide, Rocco. As soon as he realized I was sick, he got me Venetian ice to help cool me down. When I did not improve, he went to a nearby pharmacy and bought medicine for me with his own money, refusing any repayment. He stayed with us while I recovered and, once I was well enough, walked us all the way back to our hotel (a 25-minute walk). Meeting someone as kind and caring as Rocco was truly refreshing. His generosity and genuine concern helped me feel better in a scary situation. Even though we could not complete the tour, it was clear Rocco is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about Venice. I highly recommend a tour with him!"

"We were a family of five, with three children aged 7-14. Federica was wonderful with the children. and they really enjoyed the tour, especially the best gelato in Venice. We learned a lot of the the history of venice, the art, the stories, the culture, and the geography. Highly recommended tour guide."

"My friend and I felt that a personal tour guide would be best when we visited Venice, as she is registered blind and wanted as much 'hands on' opportunities as possible. On contacting Monica we realised that she was just the person for us and our first meeting proved us correct. My friend has experience of sailing and had asked if she could see how a gondola was constructed. Monica arranged an amazing tour of a construction and repair business, where we were able to have the process explained and touch the tools materials. Watching my friend see with her fingers brought to life the skill of the boat makers. Monica took us to the Doge's Palace and gave us a tour which enabled us both to 'see' the incredible art work and get a feel of the history of this remarkable place. St Mark's Square was busy but Monica's information enabled us to get a sense of the history and we were able to return another day to fully explore. Monica took us to her favourite gelateria by the waterfront and we got to experience exquisite flavours, sitting in the sun and chatting like old friends. She was able to tell us about other buildings which we could see and we could almost feel the history. Monica's love of her city brought Venice alive for us and we were so glad that we had booked another day with her to visit the main islands. We greeted her the next day as a dear friend and will forever feel that Venice and Monica belong together. If we are ever able to return to Venice, Monica will be the first person we will contact; she is one of Venice's treasures. "

"Romy was a fantastic tour guide, she is extremely knowledgeable about local culture and historical facts. It was also extremely hot but she kept us moving so it felt less overwhelming. She also had great recommendations on other things to do and see while in Venice. I would highly recommend her to others. "
